Will that make them the largest university in the SEC?

Florida is pretty big, but I don't think that big.

UCF is the largest undergrad in the country. Florida is 3rd.

I think A&M is 2nd though.

If you count just the CS campus A&M has about 48,000 students. If you count our other two campus' in Galveston and Qatar we have over 50,000

We are slightly smaller than UF by a couple hundred students I believe

I think only home campuses are counted. LSU doesn't count Shreveport, Alexandria, Eunice, etc...

Bengal, not the same. LSUE, LSUS, LSUS are like TAMUCorpus, TAMUKingsville, etc.

Qatar and Galveston are actually A&M. The diploma is the same as mine. It's a satellite campus, not just a school under the same state funding

Oh ok gotcha. So do people go to Qatar and Corpus for specialized interships and/or research?

Corpus is a satellite campus, similar to LSU- Shreveport or UT-San Antonio. Galveston is an extension of A&M, mostly housing the marine stuff. Not much marine research can be done in CS. Qatar is also a satelitte campus, I will admit I know little about it but I imagine a lot of it is Petroleum and Foreign Affairs studies.

Galveston is for Oceanography and Marine Biology but they have other classes as well. They have Corps of Cadet members in Galveston also and they can get student tickets to the football games

I'm not sure why we put a campus in Qatar a couple years ago. Maybe for military

Qatar and Galveston are satellite campus', Corpus is just another University under the A&M System.

And yep, Galveston is the Sea Ags, more of your marine type degrees. My son wants to join the Corp there and go into marine biology.

Qatar, I'll admit I don't know much about. It looks like they offer some of the same degrees College Station does. At one time it was a big thing for universities to open Middle Eastern campuses and get some of their money and train their workers for petroleum type jobs. A number of those campuses have run into money issues the past few years.
