Damn I hate listening to lawyers speak.

I'd like to see CLM reinstate JJ just to shut this fricking lawyer up. Doesn't mean he has to play him.

Claims shoes have yet to be tested for DNA and he has witnesses who will testify that JJ did not kick Lowery. Also BRPD did a poor job investigating.

AKA, "witnesses" will lie.

Unglesby sounds like he's calling in from the marsh fire. Someone get him an inhaler.

This lawyer is going to make the DA's office look really silly by the time this is all said and done.

Just an FYI, Lewis Unglesby was the man that Edwin Edwards tapped to defend him in his 2000 Racketeering Trial over the awarding of Casino Licenses.
The Department of Justice & the Judiciary in that case-Jim Letten & Ayatollah Polazola, respectively-were so fearful of Unglesby's abilities in the courtroom that they literally had him thrown off the case because of it.
They cited some flimsy conflict of interest stuff and had him thrown off at the very last minute which really hamstrung the defense, especially in the courtroom.
He is a feared man by all accounts...

"I want Jefferson reinstated...blah blah blah" STFU already.

He says he's looking for LSU to give him some guidelines on what JJ needs to do to be reinstated. That JJ was being a true team leader and breaking up the fight.

Someone's going to look silly all right.

Did I understand right that he said no LSU player has been suspended for misdemeanors before??? What about the player kicked off for a bar fight some time ago?
I may have misunderstood.

I'm assuming that you didn't like the interview, Mr. Lowery?
