Old Main? Is he a Hog fan?

"Old Main" was the original academic building at A&M, and still the name of a street in College Station.
I assume Arkansas has something similar?

Yes. With construction completed in 1875.
When was yours built?

You do realize most older colleges had an Old Main, right?
Just around me I can think of Texas State, Southwestern, A&M, Texas, Our Lady of the Lake.. all of which had or have an 'Old Main'.

1876, I believe, but it burned down in 1912. Nothing but a street name now.
The austere looking domed building known as the "Academic Building" is what replaced it, I think. Some other Ag who knows his campusology might correct me.

Ours is best. Suck it, Our Lady of the Lake and TSU.

Corrected this for you

The last post there was factually wrong....our suitable replacement for aTm wasn't La Tech, we didn't play them for another eight years.

You have it backwards. LSU found A&M's "suitable" replacement for LSU which was LaTech.

Man, that 1920 game must have been thrilling.

Not true.
As soon as they join, they are #2 on my "hate" list behind the barn.
