I cook my butt off, but to this I say no way. Cooking rice in a dish (rather than adding it cooked) and mussels are two of my very few Achilles heels. And both? In one dish?? I'll drive his arse to NOLA.

I will check out La Reyna. I have heard only good things, and the menu looks interesting.

I thought a pupusa was a puffy foldover sandwich thing, too!

I am a huge fan of La Reyna, but I have to say that I thought their paella was mediocre. It's the only thing I've tried from there that I didn't love.

Have more trouble with jambalaya than paella. Use shrimp instead of mussels or omit the seafood altogether.
