I think fans are missing the point about why jj & johns were suspended!

From all articles, evidence and video that i have seen, it doesn't appear that Johns and JJ were involved in the actual fight itself. Seems they were actually standing nearby watching the fight when some person rushed up to try and help the gentleman that was being beaten up and Johns may have thought that he was coming after him and blindsided him. So when JJ sees this he then thinks his buddy is fighting someone and proceeds to stomp a mud hole in this guy and that is what the witness saw. So in fairness, she is telling the truth about JJ and Johns. They actually were not part of the initial fight, but by them doing those 2 things is why they are in trouble, not b/c they were fighting with the other guy! No petty bar fight will ever get u put in jail, that is why none of the other players are in jail! Let me also say this, if anyone ever kicked me in the head while i was on the ground and they didn't paralyze, or kill me, then god help them when i was better. I hope whoever kicked the person in the head does not go to jail, but rather would be allowed to be treated the same way in return.
Thanks,
Gordon

I think they were suspended due to being arrested, but I may have missed that point.

Partyly because they were arrested and alot because they can't be on this team and be dealing with a criminal trial/felony at the same time.

Well finally we have a 3rd party witness.
Why the hell didn't you speak up until now?

Why does everyone think it's impossible that JJ kicked the guy in the face?

They were suspended in order to get the white QB on the field.
Haven't you read enough here yet?

It's not that they think it's impossible, it's that many don't think the Louisiana Criminal Code should apply in or near a bar to a football player they like.

Gordon, read her account of the events again, I don't get where she says it was a seperate issue She also says that the unknown male got in the truck and left after threatening with a gun. Persons interviewed at around 1:30 implied Lowery left in the pick up truck. Does the truck belong to Lowery, the police went off looking for the two vehicles and returned to the original scene. Did they see the pick up in question and that is why they stopped. At 2:40 the bar is closed, people still in the parking lot were there with an agenda, especially if they had already left the scene.
No way am I convinced that Lowery did not know the other victims. Fishy they all hired the same attorney last Friday after the incident.

That is Poli board material - but you know that.

I think he succumbed to peer pressure. In an instant, he flashed back to the years of Josh Jasper bailing out his frick-ups 3 points at a time, and had to prove that he could do it too.

I thought the damn thang stated that severe pain like something being broken or fractured or cut is what second degree battery was.
Even if JJ(Jordan) kicked the dude (highly doubt that) you can't prove that was when one guy got his verts cracked.
All you have is some mofos who took a few hours to get their shite together in order to place blame on Jefferson. I don't think they got any witnesses at the scene to get their statements.
Your police are fricking morons and the judge who signed off on the warrant is either stupid or didn't give a frick either way. Testing Jefferson's DNA makes no since and if you're going off the video and witnesses, why do you confiscate all his shoes instead of just the ones with the same color of dude in video?
Your police force down there is either incompetent or hidng something, which one do you think?

I think the cops 'lose' either way.....it's their fault if it's covered up, or their fault for making an arrest.

What was the point if quoting the entire OP?

Exactly!!! And in most cases, you don't get an arrest warrant issued for just being there.
