You can get 750ml of Woodford for around $25-$30 depending on where you pick it up. You're right about Blantons though. That's a cool $50 or better for 750ml. And these are Kentucky prices where it's widely available.
90% of the time you get what you pay for with bourbon. And it's worth it to kick it up a few bucks for Blantons or Pappy Van Winkle. If price is that big of an issue, stick with something like Four Roses or Woodford.
