Not relevant to the story, but this keeps getting repeated. If he worked at McDonald's, would they keep rehashing that he was "McDonald's employee" in every report unless it was somehow relevant to the situation?

The story just broke up here. Unconfirmed reports that JJ will be arrested.

It makes for a compelling media story, and the prosecution would certainly make it a focal point as well. Conservative La residents love football but they love flag waving and 'patriotism' even more in some cases.

I agree. This has nothing to do with what went down.

He was a guy in a bar wearing jeans and a flannel shirt. The freaking media and police are eating this "he is a Marine" crap up.

Let's just dismiss the fact that he's a high school drop out, been in trouble since.... is in the Marine reserves b/c that's his only option in life.....

Again, that doesn't matter either but they're making it sound like he was wearing fatiques and had just returned from doing a tour in Afghanistan or something.
