all of which have pretty much been proved as lies
First of all how have they been proven as lies? By the other rumors that sound more like what you want to hear?
Secondly, like I said all of that has come from the internet. The only known facts are the injuries, the charges, the people involved, and the statements of police.

I really hope he wasn't involved

I don't hate the kid. He's never been in trouble (as far as we know).
I just hope he wasn't involved and some punk kids started some dumb shite and they reacted.
Although, honestly, I wish they would have walked away. I know the coaches pound this into their heads. Too much to lose over some punk kid that is trying to impress his friends.

I think everyone wishes they would have. I believe what I have been told and it really sounds like they tried to avoid a fight.

how exactly to you try to avoid a fight?
And at which point does it become imminent that it cant be avoided? espec is it is 4 reg dudes vs a bunch of Div 1 football players.
i gotta hear this.

Hopefully everything turns out okay for all 4 players, but there are certain things that need explaining regarding this case...

If a 140 pound 5'8 guy picks a fight with a 230 pound 6'3 guy and gets the frick beat out of him and gets bones broken, even though small fry started the fight, big guy would be held responsible...
Seen it happen before.

is blowing a horn, IYO "starting' a fight?
Maybe I give stupid people more credit than they deserve,,?
I just cant imagine some small to avg size guy getting out of his vehicle to challenge a group of football players in parking lot, bc they wouldnt get the frick outa the way.

are you really that stupid? Have you never seen or been involved in a fight where one party really doesn't want to fight but the other party keeps instigating the fight? Most people can only take so much before they say frick it and whip some arse....which is what I believe happened to the losers of the fight.

Sounds like it was 4 on 4 to me.

even if he did...so what?
You're a D1 athlete on a top 5 nationally ranked team about to play on TV for millions of fans.
This kid is worthless...just walk away.

that's still a crime. You can talk all day, physical altercation is totally different.

I've seen plenty of lsu football players get trash talked to them and just walk away, or leave the bar. The coaches teach them to.

I second that...
Its like Ron White said I don't know how many I plan on fighting, but I can see how many they plan using.

This is true, but because the small guy isn't causing any damage. You don't have to destroy the guy to defend yourself if you have that much advantage. Especially when after said fight you don't even have a scratch.
