Any suggestions for upscale restaurants in San Antonio? Any other must - do things there? I have 5 nights and would appreciate any suggestions.

Along the Riverwalk I would stick to Boudro's (get the tableside guac) and Luke. Honestly, the Riverwalk has ok food, but the best is just outside of downtown. That being said, I enjoy Luke quite a bit and Boudro's is solid as well.

I usually go to the mercado
If you go don't buy anything at the first store you walk into. You'll find that a lot of items are sold at multiple stores and there is a pretty big variation in price.

Paesano's on either 1604 or the Riverwalk, but I prefer the 1604 location.
Shrimp Paesano appetizer is divine, and the beef tenderloin with potato medley as the side of choice beats any steakhouse in town, or anywhere else for that matter.
Also, you have to try Rudy's BBQ for the shear atmosphere and experience. San Antone the most favorite place I have lived, thus far.
