Texas schools just belong together in a conference.

So, if the Aggies do ever join the SEC, am I the only one who will find it hilarious, yet gay at the same time that they will be playing Alabama or LSU or Auburn and be singing in their fight song about cutting off varsity's horns. I know they do that now in the Big 12, but at least they can say they play TExas.

Jesus, I hope they just stay the frick put.

Hey Big 12, invite BYU and Boise to join the north. Voila! new conference.

A&M will move to a conference where nearly every game is televised on national tv. This is going to help them in recruiting which is why there is so much anger at this move to the SEC.

Can you imagine though? A school that never plays Texas all season, singing the following words after a touchdown in Bryant Denny?

"Good bye to Texas University!" "Saw Varsity's horns off!" "Short Ay!" "THe eyes of Texas are upon you, that is the song they sing so well. Sounds like hell!"

Nevermind, they won't score in Bryant Denny.

You don't think they'd still play Texas?

Yep. I told this to an Aggie I work with, and he said, "well, LSU is Alabama's little brother."

THey're like another Auburn who has little brother syndrome, but not nearly as talented and competitive to their big brother as Auburn is.

Texas would probably not schedule them.

Either that or A&M wouldn't want to schedule them in addition to an SEC schedule.

I just can't understand why a school would even mention another school in their fight song, much less make the entire song about them.

Alabama's fight song still references Georgia Tech, who left the conference in 1964. It also references Georgia, who Alabama hasn't played on an annual basis since 1992.

Can't blame them though. Teh SEC schools would shite a brick if ESPN partnered up with the Gator Network or Crimson Tide Network.

It's different though. One line here and there is totally different from A&M's song, where the whole song and all of their traditions are about Texas.

A&M's cheers (the milk men male cheerleaders) doing the sawing of the horns with their arms is about Texas.

Does Bama have cheers about UGA or GT?

Im just saying the SEC has a good thing right now. A&M adds more viewers but if it screws up the UF LSU game forget that.

No, it's because it fricks up and changes the best conference.
Not to mention we don't want yall's stupid asses making us look bad in bowl games. We don't want people to think all SEC schools grab their nuts on an important play silly aggie.

I assure you that the LHN is just the icing on the cake. A&M's issues with Texas go back to the 1876 Texas Constitution and just build from there.

I'm sure it's all Texas' fault though right?

A&M is just immensely jealous of a school adn everything they do is to one up Texas, which they continually fail to do.

Auburn - Alabama
Ole Miss - Miss State

You act like rivalries don't exist between schools in a state.
