That show met a premature and undeserved death.

I meant surprising in that I didn't think it was going down hill (no pun intended) or that the show's staff wanted to end it then. I don't know what their ratings were like, but I was still tuning in.

It was going downhill once Lucky was added. And that spot in the 6:00 hour during football season didn't help ratings.

Well I'm not surprised Veronica Mars got cancelled because TV has a history of cancelling those type of shows - I think people are listing the shows they thought were too good to be cancelled.

Twin Peaks - now that was a surprise; everyone talked about that show when it was on. "You watching Twin Peaks tonight?"

Firefly was sad but not a surprise.

There was a show I watched called Eli Stone about two years ago that had a great story but didn't make it.

Fastlane made it only one season and I knew it was a long shot but I loved the show.

WKRP. Damn funny show and had CBS left it alone on the schedule, it could've found a consistant audience.

very good one.
I also loved KotH, and hated it being cancelled.
Couldn't believe Futurama was cancelled...thank the good lord it's back on.
Watching Reaper now and loving it, i just can't imagine it had the best following on CW...along with any over show, shame.
I also love code monkeys, can't believe that was taken off, either.
