This was what I expected. If I wanted simple I would have not posted. And if they don't like them they can make their own.
It's an adult function with alcohol for kids school parents offsite. The Southern Belle won't cut it. At least not if I'm making them. Cucumber is a good light addition. The crust is the best part of rustic breads so I don't want to cut that off.

I did finger-sized cuban sandwiches for a party once that turned out great. May be more trouble than they're worth for your event however.
