All the gas is currently being flared and I'm not sure what the ratio is, but since 18H also began production they are about to pipe the gas from 18H to 17H and compress the gas from both wells at that location.
The total cost was around $12 million for 17H.

$12MM is too high....marginally economic even at $100/bbl.

How many stages was the frac? Proppant mix?

Huh??? If they produce an average of 250 bopd @ $80/bbl that's $7.3 MM a year. It's paid off in less than 2 years.. I'll take that

The oil out of these wells will get a ~$20 premium over the WTI price, so that should help out the well with making economic sense.

Are the rigs from these wells going to move to the Ash wells site?
Posted on 5/21/12 at 8:02 am to Nodust
The drilling rigs aren't onsite any longer, but I've only kept up with info regarding the Anderson wells so I don't know where they would have gone.

Actually I heard the well costs were closer to $20MM on Anderson 17H. That sounds absurd to me but I was told by someone who would know, and I've seen that figure quoted as the upper end of the AFE range in a few articles.

Links to articles? That's insane.

That's incorrect, just looked at the report and as of May 17th the cost to date was $12,068,177.

This is interesting - about lease negotiations with oil companies. A group of Kansas farmers bands together and turns the table on Big Oil. May be idealistic, but seems they managed to pull it off. What's the major impediment to the same thing happening in the TMS?
Farmer power forces Big Oil bidding war.
