chamakh and nasri were big fans. I don't chalk them up as sartorial dynamos so I think we should avoid them .... for now

I've watched that RVP goal over 20 times and it only gets more amazing. Can't decide if its overtaken his Charlton volley or not. Probably not. That might be my all time favorite goal.

For some reason his body contortion there reminded me of Black Swan.

Santos expected to be out for around 3 months per YoungGuns. frick THIS GAY EARTH.

Just when we were starting to plow through with some momentum, the armament of our success now seems as fragile as Abou Diaby himself.

Ideally, we would get someone like Jordi Alba, who is awesome. I imagine we won't get anyone, with Vermalean and Miquel serviceable options. If we buy anyone in the winter, I'd prefer it to be an attacker, as we need someone else to create chances.

He would be awesome, but I can't imagine a situation where they sell their most consistent performer at a position hard to fill.

cup-tied or not should not matter for any purchase not like we have any chance to win the CL anyway.

Staying top 4 has to be the priority.

There is one left back available...

How desperate would we have to be to go that route?

I would disagree. I think we have as good a chance as anyone not named Barcelona or Real Madrid to win the CL. Remember that Wilshere, Sagna, and Gibbs will be back by the time the next round of CL matches start. With a good buy or two in January we can make some noise in the CL.
