3 day old mayo is better than no mayo, IMO.

Didn't this just happen to someone else on the food board??

Why are you people leaving condiments out on the counter when you go to bed at night??

My granmaw never refrigerated mayo. Now, I wouldn't eat it, but it never killed anyone at her house.

Mayo a has high acid content. The lemon juice and vinegar actually slow the spread of bacteria. Mayo is much safer than most people think. My grandma also left it un-refrigerated. It's fine.

I would say if it was already refridgerated and then left out, toss it. If it has never been refridgerated it's fine. But mayo is cheap so no since taking chance. Once you've had food poisoning , you never want it again, i promise you that.
