At what point will we actually circle Arkansas on the schedule as a big game?

they've pretty much owned us the last 4 years with our only win a hard fought victory in 2009. they've got a good coach with lots of talent. if their QB plays anything like the way he did against Auburn, I don't foresee them losing a lot of games.

seems like everyone says our home schedule sucks this year but Arkansas could be a top 5 game to determine who goes to the SEC/BCS championship. when we talk about big games, everyone discusses Oregon, Bama, Florida, etc.

if you don't already consider arkansas a big game, then you're an idiot. generally speaking, of course.

I've had that game as my scariest on the schedule for a few years now. Especially when it's the day after thanksgiving. They've given us fit even when they weren't good.

They've hardly owned us over the last four years. 2007 - won by 2 points in 3 OT
2008 - Won by one point on a last second hail mary
2009 - already chronicled
2010 - won by 8 at home after two horrific secondary collapses

I'd hardly call that "owning" someone. Every game has gone down to the wire and this year will probably be no different. 2005 and 2006 were hard fought battles as well. The last time anyone "owned" anyone in this series was LSU over Arky 2003-04.

Uhhh right now and every year for the past eight years? Arkansas always plays it close and there's always something at stake. Especially this year when we're going to be 11-0 when they come to town.

Last year. We were both playing to go to the Sugar Bowl. and this year b/c the game will probably have major bowl implications.

Whenever Tyler Wilson proves he can play qb besides an off the bench role against the SEC's worst pass D last year.

I've never seen a dude crowned so ready for the big time more than this kid.........except for John Brantley.

What idiot doesn't circle this as a big game? I can't believe that six out of seven SECW representatives came from the LSU/Arky game and LSU fans don't circle this as one of the season's biggest games.

Eight out of the last 10 games have been decided by one score or less, and more often than not, the winner of the game wins because of some lucky bullshite that stings for years.

Seriously, people, stop with the Bama dick envy (we own them) and realize that the best rivalry LSU has is the one with Arkansas.

Arkansas's seniors just graduated with a 3-1 record over LSU. For the rest of their lives, they'll be able to say that they owned LSU, and they'll be right.

BTW, the last time a senior class graduated from Arkansas with a 3-1 (or better) record over LSU was 1930.

Brantley didn't have the skill players around him like Wilson has. Our running game and ability of the WR's to turn short, relatively safe passes into big gains will take pressure off Wilson.

Arkansas will have unbelievable speed all over the field, and Wilson has an accurate arm from within the pocket and from throwing on the run whether it's running to the right or left.

As LSU fans, we see about 10-1 Bama to Arkansas thread ratio.

Wilson has yet to be proven so yeah. But they are without a doubt a HUGE game. However they have not OWNED us at all. We were better than them last year and didn't play to our ability at all.

Insert any SEC team skill players, just keep the same 40 times

3 out of 4 is ownage, dude. With a Tiger win this year, it will have been a very short-lived ownage.

True. I'll still take Arkansas' skill players over all others though.

Also, I was being conservative with those 40 times. A lot of those guys have been hand clocked at lower times over this off-season. All those 4.4's are legit.
