Anytime the SEC puts a team in the BCSCG and another team in a BCS bowl, then I'm fine with blowhards opining about the SEC's demise.

I mean under Petrino if that wasn't intuitive (that's the knock on him atm IMO) - esp because they lost all four of their road SEC games in 2009

absolutely no guarantee of that - esp if bama runs the table. If two or more major BCS teams run the table they would play in the BCS NCG instead of LSU

Arky is a big game and has been for a while. They're never as talented, but they play their little nutsacks off against us. That being said, it's probably the 4th most difficult game for us this season and usually isn't a top 3 opponent (last year they were our 3rd toughest). They aren't on the level of AU, UF, and Bama at this point year in and year out.

Its generally big game and it lacks the luster that au or bama or Fla bring.
Sat yr or so ago was a step in the right directon but that friday shite is no good.

I bet part of the reason I dig the Friday thing is because it started when I was a kid and didn't cease until recently. I also like being at a football game with a lot less women than usual (Black Friday).

I think if the game wasn't around Thanksgiving it would be bigger. Arkansas fans make me mad and that makes it a bigger game for me.

It's just awful. Easily the worst fans in the SEC. Incredibly obnoxious and uneducated. What makes it worse is that they have literally never won anything that matters since joining the SEC.
Arkansas and the majority of its people suck. I have never been so happy to cross the border back into Louisiana in my entire life.
