The ratings are always off. Last year Dre Kirkpatrick had a higher rating than Patrick Peterson.
Once I get all the names I edit my players equipment and ratings to what I think they should be. Realistic.

hope so. But do they actually change the ratings? Bama usually has everyone in the 90s and LSU is usually underrated.
Not at the start. About a month in or so someone usually comes out with rosters that have realistic ratings. I'm definitely going to work on LSU's before they come out though. Too many guys over/under rated.
The early rosters are for everyone to get the correct names and numbers (as accurately as possible with only a 70 man roster).

You download these rosters through the 360 directly or computer->flash drive->360?
You download them through the EA Locker. Just input the persons gamertag that has the rosters. Operationsports.com is a great resource for this.
There will be several different guys that create them, but that website will allow you to get the communities opinion on whose is the best.

Fantastic. Can you see the names during online play as long as the stats aren't altered?

Yes.
I usually download 2 rosters.
One for online play and one that's edited correctly.

Those are some pretty poor ratings for LSU. I didn't expect much for Auburn's ratings and honestly never will when it comes to an NCAA game. I was however disappointed that they only had McCalebb at 91 spd and only 95 acceleration. That is just comical. Also, all of our receivers and db's are slow as molasses. T-Reed was like 89 speed, but he does have 98 acceleration so that makes up for it. The rest of the ratings, however, I can't complain too much about because our team is very unproven.

That and the commentary... They really need to overhaul it next year, but at least it's not as bad as madden's.
