I'm not sure about the Medowlands, but Ford Field uses artificial turf for the NFL. Seems like a bad combo since the grass isn't settled.

Post-game thoughts:

MOTM: Baby Bradley. He was everywhere and was great with his passing. How many did he misplace? Houllier is an idiot for not playing him.

Tim Howard Amazing sequence near the end. Thought I was watching hockey for a second.

Deuce's goal was great. The little flick he tried just prior made me happy. If he leaves Fulham, some team is getting a steal. Does need to work on the diving, though.

Ream: Did very well early, reverted to old form late. Not quite sure how fast he was compared to the competition.

Dolo: Better on attack than on defense.

Cakes: Became better when he moved left. Had some nice link-ups with Dolo on the right.

Boca: Below his standards.

Wondo: Absolutely nonexistent. Didn't notice him touch the ball once he came on.

Edu: Had some moments, but was poor on the whole.

The ref was poor.

Detroit Should never host anything again.

Good win. Let's crush Panama.

Eh.. It was the best way to get the most people to the game.

I seriously doubt that. Chicago's close to the border and is actually used for soccer.

It's not nearly as close. There's a bunch of people right across the river in Windsor.

I doubt many Canadians would make the trip anywhere. Even Detroit. The US decided to give it a shot.

Post-game thought: I like playing Canada better than playing Spain.

Why didn't Concacaf put one of these games in Seattle?

Thoughts from a rambling mind.

Soccer should never be played indoors. The pitch was so slow it was almost embarassing. There is no way to water a pitch because it gets too humid in an indoor environment. Enough about the pitch and playing conditions.

Baby Bradley was by far the best player on the pitch. His passing and work rate were world class in the first half. He tailed off a little, but that was a great performance, He was the boss of the match. Dempsey's goal was fantastic. Altidore got the MOM, but Bradley was fricking awesome.

But can anyone give me a real short summary of how we played? Who looked awful, good, surprising etc and overall any other tidbits would be awesome.

Other thoughts:

We need to work on corners.

Jozy scored and then tried to play the rest of the match on his own.

Juan and Baby Bradley appear to have some chemistry. That really surprised me.

We need to stop playing long ball. It doesn't fit us at all and makes games too close.

The fast Canadian on the wing gave us problems.

FSC needs new commentators.

With the ball at his feet, Jermaine Jones was pure class last night.

A have the sinking feeling, though, that a shitty CONCACAF ref is going to show him red on one of those slide tackles.

Let's hope it happens early, and not in the first half of a knockout game.

Bradley learned his boundaries on that. Mastroeni never did.

Good Morning all, I see Canada lost 2-0 last night, that means the USA won! Hope it was a good game and no injuries. I am not surprised by the result and actually would have figured 2-1 or 2-0...now I can go back to supporting both sides guilt free

I am joining my son's kindergarten class at Dairy Queen this afternoon, his class of 15 kids here in Nova Scotia won the lunch for raising the most money for Alabama Tornado relief ($952.00). I am very proud of my Lochlan.
