Looking for a new grill for the summer. Suggestions? Right now I have my eye on a Weber Genesis, but $699 seems to be a lot for a grill.

If you are spending that much get a green egg.

If he's already spending 899 then it makes sense.

He is spending $699
The green egg is awesome but I wouldn't say it is the best bang for your buck.

Check out Holland Grills. I have had one for a few years and love it. I will never buy a "conventional" gas grill again. There is absolutely no flare up, and the temperature stays even and cooks very consistently.
They are not a big name company, but they are made in North Carolina with quality components. You can buy them from a couple different hardware stores in BR.

I have one too. Large BGE is $700. He thinks 700 is a lot for a grill, but not if it's a BGE. They truly are amazing.
Why the attitude?

Just gets old that whenever someone asks for advice someone always just tells them to buy the most expensive shite out there.

Never heard of BGE. Have to google it. I'm looking for a gas grill to answer the question.

BGE is not gas...A webber is the best gas grill and will last much longer than some of the cheaper brands. No difference in taste though.

who cares then? Gas is for inside. Get a charcoal grill. I highly recommend the Weber Kettle One Touch. This
