Chavis is doing a fantastic job here. Especially when you consider how piss poor the offense has been. Whoever has been recruiting our secondary needs to be given a raise and kept on the staff for as long as possible.

Someone needs to post this article on the SEC Rant for that Florida fan who asked, "Why does everyone think LSU has a top 10 defense?"

Well, see article D-bag. 301 yards/game for 8 in total defense last year. This Oozing Defensive Talent in 2011 is going to allow our defense to be better than last year. There's so much physicality, depth, and speed.

We definitely have an abundance of defensive talent. I'll be interested to see how our young defense fares against Oregon's fast-paced spread. Last season, Chavis's defense was fairly atrocious against mobile QB's and any offense that incorporated motion/sweeps/zone reads. The defense was fantastic against more conventional offenses.

I WANT MY PANTS TIGHT!!!

Okay then, I'm going to just slowly back out of here and suggest y'all get a hotel room in the Quarter. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Physically, Chavis said Johnson looks like he’s been in a college program for three years.
