Yeah, between then and now we had enrollment issues + Katrina + 3 head coaches + 2 Principals... Who could possibly produce anything with that outcome... Hey, at least we had the Marching 100!

Completely out of our respective areas, but relatively-tiny Aliquippa High in Pennsylvania (270 students) has produced 4 NFL first rounders in the last 20 years:

Jon Baldwin (2008)
Darrelle Revis (2007)
Ty Law (1995)
Sean Gilbert (1992)

From Shreveport if you travel I-20 just over the Texas line you get a lot of good players from small towns. Longview, Tyler, Marshall, etc.

East Texas recruiting hotbeds have four "slices":

1. Daingerfield to Texarkana
2. The I-20 Corridor (Tyler, Longview, Marshall areas)
3. Lufkin - Jasper
4. Beaumont - West Orange Stark

Multiple, multiple NFL players from each one of those areas

Didn't see anyone mention Dutchtown (Kelvin York, Eddie Lacy, Eric Reid, Landon Collins), who has started to put out good prospects recently.

Surprised Carencro High hasn't been mentioned yet with the likes of Kevin Faulk, Marcus Carmouche, Derrick Beavers, Wade Richey, Damian James, Lucas Taylor, and Quinton Lawrence. Not to mention the four recruits they have this year.
