WOW!! About half of gay guys are masculine, but most people never notice these guys.

Go to South Florida, San Francisco, New Orleans, etc... etc... and tell me these numbers are inflated. If anything they are less then the actual numbers because a shite ton of gays would never admit that they are gay to anyone. A lot of gay dudes live in the gym so I don't know about that figure being lower in sports either.

I'd say if you took two groups of people with similar genetics. One group has 75% at the gym everyday working out all the time the other has 25% at the gym everyday working out all the time. The first group will in general be more athletic then the second.

JMO - more gay guys seem to be workout warriors than straights... which may be because they are trying to appeal to men instead of women? (Dunno, men are more critical about looks than women)
Regarding the percentages of gay people in sports... I'm not sure what the numbers are... certain sports like men's figure skating seem to be dominated by gay men... but I think traditionally "manly" sports like football and basketball also have a decent number of gay men... perhaps because it allows for social acceptance? Or perhaps it is just a non-issue and reflects the normal incidence of homosexuality
