I just get cheap polarized, because they will no doubt be damaged at some point. Never spend over $15.

I wish I had all the money I dropped on Oakley, Ran Bans, and whatnot back in the day. I'd go through 4-6 pair a year. Now I get my sunglasses from the Taliban EZ mart. I still lose the shite out of them, but at 7.99 I don't be caring.

I usually buy the $15 polarized ones and havent had any problems. Got a pair of Costas and wore them fishing on several trips and couldnt really tell a difference from my cheap ones

Just had 2nd eye implanted with "Crystalens" last week. The UV protection is built in. I ask the Doc. to put a purple in one eye and a gold one in the other eye and also make them polarized. He laughed and said they haven't quite got that far yet.

It's a world of difference. Take it from the cheap king. Sunglasses are literally the only thing that I own that is "high class". I take great care of them, fish, race, 4 wheel, shoot skeet all with my costa's. Do it, best investment you will ever make.

I spend 8-10 hours per day on the lake almost everyday.
There is no comparison. Never go cheap again
I use Maui Jims. And there is a big difference.

Same way here bro, I never go cheap on boots and sunglasses.

I've only lost one par of sunglasses in the past 20 years.
I do believe in spending more to get a better pair for both seeing and protecting.

For me it's peanut butter and toilet paper.

I have had a pair of Bill Dance $15 glasses for 5 years. During that period I have lost a pair of ray bans, maui jims, and costas. fml.

Just because something is expensive doesn't mean it is good and just because it is good doesn't mean it has to be expensive.
I get the UV protection but I don't care if it has a designer name on the side. The fish and deer don't care.

I don't go cheap on any of my outdoor gear. Why? Cause the lifetime warranty is damn well worth it. Not everything is but all my high end backpacking gear and clothing (rain and snow jackets, rain and snow pants) has a lifetime warranty.

If you value your stuff and take good care of it, get the good stuff. it applies to cars, boats, ATV's, fishing reels and just about anything else under the sun. Bought Costa del mar's in 2003, and never take them off when i'm doing anything in the outdoors from grass cutting, duck hunting, boat/fishing, ATV, working, on and on. If you know that you're apt to be a klutz and break stuff, go cheap.

Quality optics are the most important thing with sunglasses. Doesn't matter who makes them you want quality lenses. You won't get them for $15.
On the same idea how many of you that have $15 sunglasses have the cheapest scope you can find on your deer rifle?

I cut out the bottom of a corona bottle, added some cross hairs for my rifle.
