LSU football in 2011?
Obviously we play a tough schedule through and through, but which team will surprise us the most, in your opinion?
Which underdog is gonna give us the real run for our money?

West Virginia with Dana Holgorson calling the offense.

Mississippi State. Home field adv. For them, Mullens has them rolling and they will be sky high.

Mississippi State will beat LSU this year.

Could happen and I wouldn't be surprised. Best to get that one loss out of the way quick....

Ole Miss and Arkansas always play us as if their lives depend on it.
Also, we're only 9-7 against Kentucky (1 game FROM [<--edited] .500 for those of you not good with math) over the last 22 years.
It's easier to go the other way - I'm not worried about NSU or Western Kentucky.
While I'm not taking Miss. State lightly, we've had generally good luck with them regardless of how good they are or how bad we are - we're kind of like their Bama. Since I've been alive, LSU is 34-10 against Miss State - 5 of their 10 was a streak that coincided with Jerry Stovall's tenure - even Curley was 2-2 against Miss State.

Oregon in Dallas. Facing the national runner up last year wouldn't be considered a sleeper, especially with LaMichael.
Northwestern St. Should be a easy early win, tho with Miles track history, we'll it be a blow out or a close game?
at Mississippi St. State has been a up and rising team, good coach with Mullen. might be a close game
at West Virginia. new offense early in the season, without Devine. i'd be more worried if this game was further down the season. but WVU might be still figuring stuff out with a new team.
Kentucky. don't know much about their team this year. in Baton Rouge, before Florida, could be a trap game.
Florida. New offense, new defense. I think the Muschamp/Weis combination could be better then Meyer at UF. I think if Florida can continue to recruit like Meyer did then they will be sick in a few years. I think they'll be figuring things out this year though.
at Tennessee. After what happened last year Tennessee will be up for this game, as should LSU. That game last year shouldn't have even been close, yet LSU had to win on luck.
Auburn. I wish we'd play them early in the season. Replacing a lot on their team, by this point in the season they might have figured their team out. Dyer is a good running back. Tho the game is in Baton Rouge.
at Alabama. A game LSU/Alabama should always be up for. This could be the national game of the year if things fall into place. Can't wait for it.
Western Kentucky. Same as Northwestern State.
at Ole Miss. Idk if Nutt is Irish or what, but he has had amazing luck against LSU and Miles. LSU won last year but the game was still close. The last time LSU played in Oxford is a day most fans won't forget.
Arkansas. Petrino has built Arkansas up into a National Contender IMO. As long as Arkansas retains him he'll have pretty good success. wouldn't consider them a sleeper tho.
All in all LSU has the talent and ability to win every game this year. There should be "no sleeper" team because of how we have played teams in the past, there isn't any blow outs that should make our players go out their thinking it'll be easy.

it's bandwagon fans.....just sayin.
three things;
it's football....it's a game of collisions and injuries and the game is played with an oblong ball that is pointed on two ends and can take really wierd bounces at just the wrong time.
weather....the way this year is shaping up we may have some nasty visitors come hurricane season and we all know what that possibility brings.
the SEC and SEC refs....just as tough and just as unpredictable as the above mentioned anomalies.
to the point....I'm not scared of any team on our schedule but I respect them all. the two kentucky's and northwesten st should be breathers but it's not hard to imagine every other game being decided in the fourth quarter. bring it on.

Miss State, Ole Miss, and either Arkansas
all are somewhat sleepers that have always given LSU a threat........
