I know there are a lot of Cubans in Miami, but the whiteouts are tacky

And where are the black people in the stands?

I figured they did it so you couldn't tell the building was half empty to start the game.

Obama couldn't come through with their tickets....

Looks like Penn St. vs. Michigan St. out there.

They should red-out in the Finals against the Lakers. Haven't really seen a red-out before.

Miami's whiteout looks dumb and half-assed. I feel like the majority of the people in the arena are just people with money that don't really care about Heat basketball

It's like the Staples Center without the history.

not the majority, but the lower levels, this is basically it.
But the guys in the 400s are extremely loyal fans.

For sure, most of them show up only 15-30 minutes after tip-off.

But not really for the upper levels.
And the funny thing is, a lot of those lower level guys, in fact I'd say most of them, show up on time.
The problem is there are so many fancy schmancy bars inside the arena, that they just stay there. So, they're technically in the arena, but just not watching the game lol.

guess you've never been to Miami before. Great diversity.....more than Cubans live there.

Yea, there's more black peeps that live there than white folks.

it depends.....
White people (both of european and latino descent), probably make-up the largest percentage of people in Miami. Same is probably true with Dade county, but I'm not really sure. Miami's such a big place, it can vary greatly by neighborhood. It all depends on where you are and how you categorize people.
but yeah, to the poster above....there are a ton of black people in Miami. They're not (all in Jacksonville
