first of all I didn't know the place served alcohol. It's from 3-6pm everyday with $2 draft beers served in a 18oz fish bowl and $5 mixed drinks

gonna go there one day and get obliterated on Blue Moons

I was actually shocked at how nice of a job they did with that place.

Thin catfish is really the only thing worth eating there, though.

might need to try that the next time I go there

I've only had the popcorn shrimp poboy, BBQ poboy, and bacon cheeseburger with the latter being my fave

It definitely is. When I go (everyone at work likes to go), I always get the white beans with the thin fried catfish and it's good.

I just think it's a shite name, I don't know. I don't really have data to back it up.

Bull ships! Metairie has a much higher percentage of native born residents than New Orleans! Boomshakalaka! Hell, half of the whites in New Orleans aren't even from the state of Louisiana!

I disagree 100%. I speak to young people from all over the country and the world and they all love NO. They have all embraced the culture and really enjoy living here.
