heard him yesterday saying how disappointed he was in the play of freak johnson and ego ferguson. How can you really judge any interior DL in a scrimmage when there's virtually no stunts or anything called? Much less 2 very young tackles, one of which is actually a HS senior.

You're better than that scone.

He just did this for you to start a thread on it . But you are right. I don't put much stock in the GLORIFIED Practice.

Both of those guys will be just fine. I don't understand how people can make all kinds of assumptions from a Spring game.

I thought Freak looked good. He would have decapitated Jefferson on that sack, and he continually establishes himself 2 yards in the backfield whether he makes the play or not

My personal favorite is when he says the lines open 30 times before people actually call. He does have a good radio voice though, I'll give him that.

He had one offsides penalty if i remember correctly. But overall, I agree. That was his first time playing in tiger stadium and i think freak did very well for someone that should be in hs right now.

When Freak Johnson was lined up on Blackwell, didn't I notice #60 jump offsides on False Starts twice?

Please don't take Moscona seriously. What he doesn't parrott from Rush and/or other "sources" like BBI is usually ill-informed.

Such would be the case here.

Scone's a good radio guy .. good voice .. nice delivery .. but when you stop and listen to what he says, his sports knowledge is very very average ... this 104.5 ESPN gig has gone a bit to his head ... he got the job because he's doing it cheap as shite .. Guaranty is giving the money they saved on Scona to Matt Kennedy ..

exactly. you go toe to toe with a strong SOB like blackwell at freak's age and give him all he can handle, I'd say that's a good day for you

Win Win:

Scona was towing an anchor that was similar in weight to Jupiter's mass named Richard Condon around with him. He had to get out, & he got a cut-rate deal as a result.

Both sides win. Guaranty gets the slot cheap, & Scona gets away from Condon.

when he's on his own and no guests to carry him he tries to go into Cowherd mode....only not as good.

that being said he and guaranty are raising the bar for local sports talk, so for that I applaud them
