Will LSU ever have another dynamic RB like Kevin Faulk?

Our recent starting running backs have all been born of the same mold: thundering, rumbling plodders who can run between the tackles and efficiently move the first down chains. I'm thinking here of backs like Steven Ridley, Charles Scott, and Hester. However, despite their effectiveness, these running backs have tended to lack dynamic cutting prowess and breakaway speed.
Recently, I've been watching some tapes of games from the late 1990's and I was reminded of what a breathtaking talent Faulk was. He had peerless vision, darting quickness, slashing cuts, and breakaway acceleration. He could run inside and outside. He seemed to hover on the threshhold of a dazzling TD run every time he touched the ball.
We haven't had a running back threat like Faulk in some time. Keiland Williams was capable of producing thrilling runs like Faulk, but wasn't nearly as consistent. For one shining moment in late 2003, Justin Vincent achieved the speed, vision, grace, and athleticism of Faulk, but that mirage tragically faded by the start of the 2004 season. Other than those two, I can't think of another back who as been comparable to Faulk in terms of skill set and capacity to break a long run.
Which brings me to my question: are any of the running backs on the current squad poised to become the next Kevin Faulk, or are they more lumbering, bulldozing power runners like Scott and Ridley?

TBH, I'll take the big rumbling, bumbling, head butting, nut busting, line splitting running back any day of the week. I LOVE the physical style RB.
But to answer you question, I think Ware has the best chance to be a break away back like you're talking about.

Gore seems to have a similar skill set to Faulk. Not as highly recruited maybe but he will bring a lot of the same talents to the offense

Ware seems to be the closest. Played high school quarterback, like Faulk. He is athletic, runs with vision, elusive, great body control, and good out of the backfield.
What separates Faulk from the rest in addition to what you mentioned, is his return ability.

from the time I saw him in that All American/ All Star game as a HS sr., Ware's always reminded me of a bigger Faulk. hoping he continues on the trajectory he showed in bowl prep and the bowl game.

Tiger kRags will have Ware doing a few things this year. I too like Gore, but need to see a little more...

I would argue that we've had several backs that were as fast or faster than Kevin, but he was in league of his own in terms of vision and slashing ability.
