If you fail to see the difference in the need to schedule tough OOC opponents to garner respect between and ACC and SEC team you are a fool. Like I said no need to schedule powerhouses when you play the schedule LSU does as opposed to FSU. Beating on the likes of Clemson, Miami, and Maryland is cute, but you guys have to schedule the OU's of the world to be on par with the SEC.

Yes, sorry if this is the typical SEC chest boasting, but it is what it is (5 straight NC's).

GTFO with this shite. Are you a fan of one team or twelve?

LSU/Texas

I really dont get why they/we dont do a home and home every ____ amt of years.

do they want to play us?

The answer is no IMO. LSU would be willing just for the Q rating in Texas... Texas has no interest in letting a regional power do better in their state

Can't argue with that point. You're right, it is what it is.

Don't understand this either, everyones got their own opinion though.

Say Miami returns to an elite status, I'm not going to root for them, nor boast for the ACC if they win. Same with Va Tech. Same with any other school from the conference should they turn into a championship program.

I think Texas likes playing a variety of teams from all regions over time rather than having a steady interconf. game, they don't play Arkansas every year anymore.

I agree, i was pulling for Oregon, i don't want other SEC teams to have anything to brag about over us.

I guess the only thing I would be excited about is playing them the following year, with the prospect of beating them. That would feel good.

But what happens if you lose? Are you happy about losing to a team that won the championship? Does that loss somehow make your team better?

I don't know. I just can't fathom that mindset at all.

To each his own.

these were all top teams when we scheduled them. Its not our fault Arizona's program shite the bed

ASU was suppose to be a home and away, but Katrina fricked that up and we're ended up just playing there
