Here's a free article for the good folks out there. Sounds like it was always the Tigers. Nice pickup for LSU. Best WR in the state next year.

“I have always wanted to go to LSU, so people coming up to me and asking me about Alabama and other SEC schools was always funny,” Dural said. “People around here want you to stay home, and that’s what I wanted. I knew it was time to just go ahead and commit, because there wasn’t any school that would mean more to me.”

Thanks for the link Sir!

Wide receiver Travin Dural picks Louisiana State over the Tide

Reading this article reminds me that ESPN Recruiting is a blowing joke. They should just quit.

Over 6 ft, 180 lbs, long stride, good hands, big plays on his video. Looks SEC caliber.

I wish receivers would put a few plays of their run blocking on their highlight DVDs. 60 snaps in a game, say you get 5-6 balls throw your way, what are you doing the other 55 plays? I guess that is why coaches look at entire game films and not just highlight videos.

Nice pick up coaches!

check out Jarvis Landry's block here at 3:20! LINK

reminds me of a special teams block Michael Clayton had against Auburn one year!

Duran Carter to the Tide makes him even more important. I'd rather have a system kid than a juco kid anyway.

When you are 6' 2" or 6' 3" and you LOOK fast, you are really fast.

Dural's frame, stride, and pass-catching reminds me a lot of a young Terrell Owens.

No, but his dad did play college football at the former USL. He didn't make much noise in college but he was a helluva high school football player. His name is Troy Clement

What year was Clement at Breaux Bridge? I get him mixed up with Malcolm Leblanc all the time. Clement must've been around 90-91.

Dawq,if i'm not mistaken Troy played at BBHS from 90-93 and his qb's were Malcolm and Tony Delhomme. A great pickup for LSU,he will not disappoint anyone. He has the potential to be a dangerous kick returner in the SEC.

Indeed always a civil war, but those games from the early to mid-90s were epic.
