Perfect little comment. Shows the BR crowd some love and throws a jab at the NL East keeping the GA crowd happy...

This.

It isn't really true though, the Marlins draw about 18000 per game. Nowhere near the Yankees (45000+) but even LSU isn't close to that.

You can probably finagle it to where LSU has a higher paid attendance than the Marlins have actual attendance.

smoltz is pretty good they just dont fit together. i blame the old guy. everything just sounds choppy to me

There are high school teams that out draw the Marlins.

I'm enjoying some of Smoltz's insight.

Absolutely. This has been one of the best baseball broadcasts I've seen in a while from a commentators standpoint. And I watch a shite load of baseball.

Smoltz is an excellent baseball announcer/commentator/color man.

I've never liked the Atlanta Braves or any other team from Atlanta, but, I can say this without reservation: Smoltz is excellent in the broadcast booth.
