Is now offering half-off coupons through BargainBee.
And here I am stuck with $400 worth at the Barringer location.

Why do they need to discount? This board praises them daily. Must be that awful wine list.

To make up for the increase in their prices that they shouldnt have made. I got one. 25 off there puts it back in a good deal range.

There's a pretty even split on here. A lot of people, including me, hate it as the service and food suck. For some reason a lot of people still like it.

USDA Prime Cut Ribeye used to be 28 dollars for a full meal and was the best deal in BR (and best steak I had here) They raised the price to 35 and it pushed it out of the best deal and into the norm. 25 off certainly puts that meal back into the best deal category and is worth a trip.

You were in the AIRLINE location today for lunch and you said you enjoyed it so please don't say you are stuck with $400 vouchers to this restuarant because we aim and look forward to pleasing you every single time. Thank you and have a great weekend.

Please note the date/time of my previous message within this thread.
And see my other thread where I am very complimentary of my dining experience this afternoon:

Is this response from the Airline location where that train wreck of an experience was reported a few nights ago?

Thank you so much kind sir, I will look for the thread and THANK YOU AGAIN AND AGAIN. It was really a pleasure to see you and every time you come in please let me know you are here as I want to make sure PERSONALLY that you are given our very best in all areas. I like to do that and hope to do that with everyone but especially someone that endured a bad experience. I just need to make it up again and again.

We have never had a train wreck, we have never been perfect either but we sure do try hard and encourage you to come in for dinner instead of just writing. I would love you to try our dining experience first hand. Thank you so much.

Yes.
I started a separate thread, because I only thought it was fair to point out that I enjoyed my time there today as opposed to what I experienced last weekend.
Too many times we are guilty of pointing out only the bad, just thought people/restaurants should be complimented when they do very well.

Didn't see your other link when I posted, Will. You're pretty generous for giving it a second chance. Honestly, I wouldn't have done it with the response you got that night.
Glad you had a good meal, but...

I have given the "second chance" on several occasions. The BargainBee had me tempted to try it again, but sadly I still couldn't talk myself in to it again as I left pretty ticked off the last time.
I'm not up for hit or miss service at that price when I can go places I know deliver >95% of the time.

I just flew in this morning from Austin. Wife called and asked if we wanted to go to lunch. I said, "where?" She said how about "The Little Village."
I hesitated, but I'm glad that I went.
Today is something for me that they can continue to build on.

I'm really glad you did and that you had a good experience. Maybe your first experience will change things, there.
I beg to differ on no "train wrecks", though. I read that thread live as it was happening. Bad service and bad food=train wreck, to me.

In my experience, Barringer Forteman > Downtown..but my sample size is miniscule..1 BF vs 2 Downtown..and the Barringer was just last week vs Downtown twice in the first few months opened back in 2006?
Solid experience(especially when $25 gets $50), but I give my Arancini and Pasta biz to Gino and Lawrence, my Muff/Sandwich biz to Mrs Saia(Anthony's) and/or Pokey, and my fish biz to Lagniappe, Parrains, and Bonefish..
Just hard to be regular for me, when not in close proximity, and preferring other's versions.
