Do people really eat Subway, Quizno's and the like? I guess so, but I never even consider places like this an option.

jimmy johns is pretty good. the one on coursey in baton rouge is popular. their hunters club roast beef sandwich is my favorite.

same here .. I find it funny that sandwich places like this think they can make it in new orleans ...

I guess the McAlesters' are doing ok too ... But that place has more than sandwiches

Jimmy John's is pretty good. Firehouse is better. Whole Foods sandwiches are the best.

I guess the fact they're still in operation in New Orleans disproves your theory. So they don't just think they can succeed in New Orleans but it actually happens. I find it funny that you don't realize that.

As for those sandwich shops, I never go to any of them aside from Jimmy Johns, which I actually like. Good bread, and the avocado spread on the veggie is pretty good with the hot peppers.

Have you had the Salumi? Incredible. But pretty much everything is.

Except my Count like experience with the cold quiche but that was just one time.

And they need a better coffee set up.
