Will we make a decision today before the deadline? Will he take a pay cut? This Pierre 4 year curve-ball changes a lot with the way we will move forward.

The AJ Hawk route? Getting cut and restructuring his contract is a possibility, but 5 years?

needs to restructure obviously, but I hope he stays. It would be nice to have Thomas/Bush combo for 4 more years at the least.

Same deal it's always been. Take a pay cut and he'll be back, if not, he'll be gone.

This.

Hopefully he's smart enough to realize that he won't get the money he wants from any team in the league with his body of work right now.

Objectively restructuring and staying with the team he's had some success with is probably his best bet.

I'm starting to think they gonna pay Reggie for his last year of his contract. He is a SP guy, SP wants him on the team b/c he loves the playbook it creates, and I don't think SP is really concerned about the franchise in the long run.

yep, he loves him so much that he touches the ball 8 times per game , down over half since 2008.... and takes him off the field for virtually every critical situation.

Loves the playbook it creates. SP loves his offensive toys, and he has so many not everyone can touch the ball 20 times a game.

Honestly, I'd say he gets offered a pay cut to about equal to PT's contract. I'd prefer Thomas over him as a back, and Lance Moore over him as a receiver. While that may change in the future, I'd say your contract offers to those 3 players might need to reflect that just out of fairness to everyone involved.
