Just filed to ESPN.com: Sources say we're about to have a surprising late addition to the buyout market: New York is buying out Corey Brewer
2 minutes ago via ÜberSocial
Sources say Celts, Spurs, Mavs and OKC have all registered immediate interest in Brewer, who holds obvious appeal to all as wing defender

No mention of the Hornets as a potential suitor.
Update:

Alex Kennedy: Source close to Brewer says that he will still be bought out by Knicks. "Azuibuike is being waived IN ADDITION to Brewer," said the source. 4 minutes ago
Alan Hahn: Azubuike told me last week he was 80 percent. With little time left in season, no chance for him to play. Knicks had to move on for spot. 2 minutes ago

Interesting that he got bought out...
He's one of the few players mentioned in buyouts so far that I think could actually help us, unlike a Troy Murphy or Mike Bibby.

Would be nice. He's similar to Ariza. Our perimeter defense would be really good
We probably have no shot though. We're not allowed to try to improve

We should definitely promise him the chance at big minutes.
Maybe we could guarantee him a sweet balcony at Mardi Gras too.

Would be a great addition.
eta... somebody in Texas should kick Cuban in the nuts. Because of him, we're going to miss out on some really good opportunities.

As long as we don't go over the luxury tax I can't understand how us signing a minimum guy can really be legitly scrutinized by Cuban.

You honestly think Murphy wouldn't help New Orleans?

Defense similar to Ariza.
A little better shot then Ariza.
Terrible dribbler.
Reverted back to old ways in his shooting form though this year.
Idk. Very similar to Ariza. Almost to similar.
Don't see why Thunder or Dallas have interest in him. They already have Thabo and Marion. Celts just picked up Green, and San Antonio is going to have enough trouble as it is figuring out minutes at the SF and SG position.
It seems like every top 5 team in each conference already has a similar Player to Brewer except for of course the Knicks, Magic and Heat
If I was him, I'd be interested in the Magic. That team has ZERO perimeter defenders.

Corey Brewer is terrible, ill pass.

That's a shock that he was bought out. Knicks are trying to make room to sign someone in the offseason.

Well us hornets fans won't. We'd like the addition

Nah Spurs
Going by potential let down, not record. Mavs always fail in the first
