or will we have to go out of state?

I know we dont need many but I would like to see 1 or 2 in this class in case anyone gets injured or doesnt pan out.
Also, are there enough quality LB's in Louisiana to where we can stay in state?
Would love to see a LB core full of Louisiana guys.

Thanks

very true... crazy strong year for LBers in state. As for CBs, I'd keep an eye on D. Thomas(OP Walker), D. Monroe (ESJ), and Devon Breaux(Donaldsonville). The most interesting kid to me is athlete Alonzo Moore of Winnfield, he may prove to be special from what I hear

It wouldnt surprise me that is what happened to the Peterson kid in the early 2000s.

Moore is the real deal on offense or defense. Miles and the coaches invited him to Boys from the Boot and he attended one of the junior days. I have a feeling he will do well at one of the LSU summer camps this year.

For once I think he is right. That little guy is impressive. More so than stewart from Patterson.

Batiste is an A&M legacy. His dad was a LB on some of the great wrecking crew defenses. He's only 5'8 but I hear he's impressive. I haven't personally seen him.

As for as Louisiana LB's, Coach Sherman is high on Lorenzo Phillips and Danzen Devall. Lucky for A&M in recruiting is that guys that are "tweeners" in a 4-3 between OLB and DE are a perfect fit in a 3-4

It surprised me that Moore listed his interest in LSU as "low," and his interest in some other schools was medium. Still early, so he certainly may change his mind if LSU eventually offers.

If LSU offers I would bet the house that he would accept within the week if not immediately..

Didn't know that about Batiste. Probably won't make much of a difference though. He. Is still high on LSU and Cooper is all over him.

Phillips was waiting for the LSU offer.you might as well forget about him. Devall's comments this weekend were concerning, but not by much. I think all 3 will be sporting the PnG.
