He was a lifelong Packer fan too. Sucks the one he missed was one they won, at least he saw it happen though

I can understand missing a childbirth... because that can be unexpected

it would be nice if they didn't schedule it then... but bottom line if they couldn't avoid it then he was the one who should have been a grown up about it
