The coach provided something of value to a member of his team.

I didnt know the part about Van Horn's father dying. Thats pathetic on the NCAA's part. Of course this is the same orginization that allows parents to ask for money.

Yea, he found out his dad died that night. Booked a flight home for the next morning. Obviously this kid wasn't going to sleep so Majerus offered to stay with him that night. Well they got hungry at 3am.
Did the NCAA really think Majerus was going to make Van Horn buy his meal? Insane.
Which is why it wouldn't surprise me, sadly, in the least bit if the NCAA looks into this kidney donation.
