Going with some friends. I went when it first opened and thought the food was pretty good. The fiancee and I got a reuben and some shepherd's pie.

Its been a while and I know several people on here go all the time, so what's good? Any dishes to stay away from? Anything they do really well now?

What kind of place is this? I've never heard of it.

I found the chicken sliders meh, I like the sweet/heat salsa but it is more like a tomato sauce than chunky. The fish and chips were good, hubby liked the steak, the steak and ale pie are good but reminded me of just beef stew with a pastry top. A friend had the bangers and said they were good.

I've ordered the fish and chips numerous times and haven't really strayed away from that dish, although I have tried their burger and surprisingly it's one of the best in the city. The Bangers and Mash is ok.

Patrick is running a very successful PieWorks in Lafayette. His franchise group will be opening several more over the next year. The PieWorks in Baton Rouge is relocating and should reopen by the end of the month.

Just wanted to bump a random Londoner thread to say we went again last night (my third time there) and I'm glad to report they have Kilt Lifter on hand!

And it's pretty damn good.
We each tried something different than we got last time. I had the pulled pork, and Brag had the Fish and Chips. Both pretty good, although I was slightly disappointed in the pulled pork because it had no seasonings/sauce... even the coleslaw tasted like it had no dressing. I know British food is bland but goodness.
