How do you cook your squirrels?

I cooked one for the first time a year ago. I skined and gutted salt and peppered and put on gril with some wet wood in the flames. removed when done and covered in bbq sauce. Tough but good.

I foudn it a pain in the arse to get all the meat off though.

squirrel n dumplings...cornbread,...DAMN GOOD...

brown them, add trinity/water, cook for a while, serve over rice
