No one saw us landing PP and I mean no one, this would be a similar case if we were to snag the # 1 player in the nation...( yes I started another thread)

LSU was 50/50 with PP when he announced. It was a surprise but definitely not the kind of surprise that Clowney would be.

no, its really not similar at all
PP had visited us during the season and then flipped from Miami to LSU in early January at the army game.
Clowney hasnt visited us at all yet, will visit LSU the weekend after signing day and then commit a week or so after, probably to SC.
If anything, its similar to Terell Pryor's (sp) recruitment.
