I'm a big fan of Radosta's in Metairie.
Love this place.
Rodasta's
Tracy's
Parkway
Joe Sepie's
and Kid(could be king instead of kid) Creole make my top 5 for RB po-boys.

Domilises should never make this list. Never.
Mandina's has a great Roast beef and so does Liuzza's by the track.
Praline connection has a good shrimp po-boy.
Red Wagon in Harahan is my favorite Enormous sandwich for $5.00.

Their prices have gone up, but it is still a value. I like Parenton's bette than Red Wagon. Parenton's is more expensive though.

If you want the best take a ride down I-10 to Lake Charles. Darrells will kick the crap out of anything New Orleans has to offer
I live ten minutes from Darrells, and the sandwiches are good, but that statement is pretty bold.

Many of the best poboys in town are served in complete dives, or are hopelessly crowded, so it depends on what you consider a good lunch experience.

A little unknown but the Roast Beef at Cafe Navarre is pretty damn good.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. It's okay and a bit of a tradition, but it's far from one of the best in town.
It depends on what you're looking for but I'd say Tracey's (roast beef), Mahoney's, Parkway, Johnny's, Magazine St. Po Boys are all right up there.

My favorites are Parkway and Mahony's. I also like certain items at Domilise's, such as the hot sausage with the bbq and creole mustard, and the fried shrimp or oyster with roast beef gravy. Mahony's chicken liver poboy FTW

Damned good. Mine was just a little dry the other day, though.

That's like the place I saw in Shreveport after Katrina. It was called "The Dill Pickle" and had a sign in the window--"Best Poboys in Louisiana".
Yeah, right...keep dreaming.

Good point, I guess I really mean best place to sit down for a combo of both.
