For anyone planning to be online as early as the release date or even during Beta, are any of you interested in putting a guild together?

You could sign up over a year ago... you just have to create an account on swtor.com, go into your account info, and let it scan your system specifications.
They were inundated with requests within the first week of sign-up, so you're probably out of luck if it's a first-come first-serve methodology.

I signed up for beta the day that you could and I never received an invite. Did it on my laptop and desktop too. Might be interested in a guild assuming the people in it aren't terrible

I can't tell you what to expect as I don't have experience playing with people here, but having elite players isn't really my goal. There are thousands of guilds already recruiting on the SWTOR forums if raid/PVP savvy is anyone's priority. I consider myself pretty competent at just about any archetypal role, but I don't expect everyone to have extensive experience.
My aim with this guild is to provide a social/helpful experience as we all learn the game and possibly become competitive if we find we have the proper players and tools down the road. I'm sure there's a guild out there called "TESTOSTERONE INJECTION" for those who disagree with that approach.

I am a member of a cross-MMO guild as well that I would easily join if this idea didn't have enough takers.

I'm all in for joining up and getting a guild together. The best times I had on galaxies was with a guild or just a group of people (rancor or krayt hunting anybody?). Just let me know something a couple weeks before hand.

frick yeah, man. either Bounty hunter or Smuggler. For someone who asked when is it due I hear Q2 or 3....UGH! I cannot wait. I really hope this is a great game.

I am still not clear on whether some classes are cross-faction, I.E. if you can be a bounty hunter aligned with the republic or a trooper/smuggler aligned with the Sith. I know each class has its own story path, so maybe the factions really are rigidly pre-determined.
If there's no flexibility, I'll probably roll a jedi knight since a lot of people seem to be going for the non-force using classes.
I know that, like in SWG post-NGE, there will be thousands of pre-pubescents playing as jedi.

Been looking forward to this game since they announced it, not a huge mmo player but I know enough; plus I adore anything star wars related (that has nothing to do with prequels).
I think I'm going with a smuggler scoundrel class. So yeah a guild would be sweet.

Why thank you. I am much obliged.
Well I keep getting excited and then I see stuff that makes me less excited. And it's still giving off a giant Single Player Game vibe for me, and that would be ridiculous to charge for seeing as Guild Wars 2 will be free.
I'm really interested in customization and PvP. Have those two things and I'm good. I'm not a raider or quester, I like those as distractions though.
If we go Republic then I would probably be a Jedi Counselor. The only non Jedi class that interests me is the Infiltrator.
