I think the fans are putting way to much stock into 2011 Mett. Hes never so much as played an SEC game or even been on the sidelines as a backup. Its highly likely there will be an adjustment period for him. Rather than immediately throwing 3TDs and 300 yards in every game

Absolutely. But it beats throwing 4 regular season TDs.

I think most fans would be happy with 200+ yards and 1+ TD a game compared to the past years.

Agreed. I think he ought to have a chance to get a lay of the land before we throw him to the lions - or the wolves.
