Yeah, I don't think he was ever offered in 2007 (and belowpar I believe confirmed this), but I do think Miles was offered this time around. For a while I thought the whole Michigan/Miles meeting was a sham to appease the Michigan fanbase, but I've now talked to a couple people and believe he was definitely offered about the same at Michigan that he makes here.

I saw a story on another site that an email or voicemail was sent to Herbstreit the night before from someone claiming to be Desmond Howard.

I talked to George Bass about this a couple of years ago. He basically told me that nothing happened with Michigan and that Les had already decided to remain at LSU before the fiasco even started.
