Biggest smokescreen ever...

IMO, that plane has been sitting in Baton Rouge to throw everyone off of the coach Michigan is truly going after.
No one has mentioned it yet, but does anyone else find it strange that Brandon has been in Arizona the last two days in the midst of his biggest chore since taking over as Michigan's AD.
In case you didn't watch ESPN yesterday, there is very high profile national title-winning coach also in Arizona right now. One that tends to hop around every 4-5 years. His first major college job was in Michigan.

Urban Meyer would be an interesting hire

Are you saying Bill Parcells is going to be the new Michigan coach?

I don't think lil'nicky would go to Mich (not a MM) but if I was Brandon I'd sure as hell try to talk to him.

If I wanted to rebuild a football program, Nick Saban is #1 on the list.

Nick Saban and Dave Brandon have both been in Arizona the last few days.
And Bo Davis is another twist to all of this as well.

We're sounding like a bunch of Gumps, spying on airports and writing down rudder numbers.

Absolutely. I wonder how much it'd take for him to even listen. 7 million? 8?

Actually, most of them are already in Dallas at the American Football Coaches Association convention.
But Saban is in Arizona.

If Saban has figured out he's most happy when rebuilding a program then he's gone to Michigan.
