Your Jerry World Stadium experience

I'm sure most people know that it has a giant screen or that its good looking, but here are some other random thoughts about it.
Pluses.
- Lots of walking room in the stadium itself, never felt crowed at anytime walking around or going to the concession stand
- Food while expensive was good, I thought my quesadilla was pretty tasty
- Seats are very roomy and comfortable, plenty of leg room and i was in the nose bleeds
- Really nice smoking area with giant Screen for those who smoke
Minuses
- Concession stands all had "employee only" lines and for the most part wouldn't let regular people order from them
- Pepsi and Miller lite exclusivity, I'm sure that was awesome for a few people, but would like some choices especially in the beer department
- Getting into the stadium was pretty disastrous, not sure if it was the entrance design or the fact that everyone is patted down.
Just my thoughts, feel free to add your own. I'm sure some people will feel the exact opposite.

Those lines were long as hell. Thank goodness I didn't have to stand in them

Im just gonna say ditto.
Screen to me was a little overwhelming.
I never watched the live action on the field.
We left our searts at halftime and went to a lux box that a friend invited us to .... nobody asked us a thing.. no ticket, no pass... just hopped on the elevator and told the attendantes what/where we were looking for.

Supposedly the long lines were due to security "practice" for the Super Bowl. I was told they don't normally do it for other bowl games and football games.

Most space between urinals that I've ever seen at a stadium, or maybe anywhere.

I think the point was that miller lite was the only product.
I don't know about most places, but the GA Dome offers multiple domestics and imports.

While the big screen was amazing, it also was a distraction. If you were sitting in the upper deck, you had a hard time keeping your eyes off of that thing.

No long lines @ the restrooms caught me off guard;
I had some Depends on for good measure!

He has a nice holding cell down stairs at Jerry World. Two big flat screens showing the action on the field. I was pissed when they took me to the Arlington city jail.
Although I had some entertainment from some young Aggie who couldn't even stand on his own there. He fell into the community toilet in the holding cell there.

it was my third time in the stadium and the first I've sat somewhere that was conducive to actually watching the game on the field. Anywhere in the 200s and up you're totally distracted by the TV.
The seats are spread out quite a ways from the action and the layout didn't seem very conducive to a raucous environment IMO.

acoustics aren't great in JerryWorld... you don't get the crowd noise feel that you would at Death Valley or Kyle Field.

That's interesting because when we play the aggies down there, getting in is the easiest part. They put the ticket-takers outside at a perimeter at either end of the stadium. We go a few hours early and listen to bands and drink beer in the plazas at either end. Then, two hours before kickoff, the entire end of the stadium opens up with those floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors, and everyone goes in at once. Very orderly and roomy. I wonder why the difference for your bowl game.

Lines were also miserably long for the saints game. Wasn't just the bowl game. Have fun whoever is going to the super bowl because if you're not there 3-4 hours early you may not get in.

It didn't take me long to get through the lines at entrance B. A quick pat down and in I went. It got a little stuffy and warm in there towards the end but overall a very good experience.

Interesting. We went in at the LSU end about 6:00 and there was virtually no line at all (maybe 5 or 6 people in front of us). Maybe it got worse a half hour or so later.

Ive had some terrible seats for the road games this season, and it was noticable how smooth it was getting up to the 400 level in Cowboys Stadium. Good experience overall.
