Congrats on a good game

A few thoughts on the game:
-you all were better than we were. The result wasn't a fluke.
-it was irritating that Jefferson picked last night for his Heisman coming out party, but with the way your OL dominated our DL, it wasn't going to matter much. It would have been a close game if Les hadn't called a single pass play.
-On that note, our defense was horribly disappointing. No offense, but you guys were hardly an offensive powerhouse this season and we forced one single punt all game. That's embarrassing.
-the refs didn't call a pair of offsides penalties on you guys which was irritating, but I think we ran for 6-7 yards on both plays so it didn't matter much. Other than that, it's the usual few "wow that linemen was holding!" but the refs weren't really a factor.
-Sherman could learn something from Les when it comes to playcalling: if the run is working, keep ****ing doing it.
Bottom line: I thought our offense performed fairly well in putting up 24 points against one of the stingiest defenses in the SEC, but our defense played their worst game of the year by far. Some of that is because we still have some depth problems left over from Fran, so injuries resulted in guys taking the field that are flat out bad. But that's still no excuse for your linemen to take us to the woodshed like they did.
The overall result was disappointing, but you guys are a legit top 10 team this year and we kept things competitive into the 4th quarter. I'm not one for moral victories, but after a decade of completely sucking and getting prison raped by every big name team we play, it's good to see that we seem to be moving in the right direction. Hopefully we'll spend the next year or two in the little ten, continuing to build depth, and then we'll jump ship to the SEC.
PS - frick all of you

I love how 41-24 is 'moving in the right direction'.

Nice post. Esp. the last sentence. I thought the refereeing was a bit bad. Many blocks in the back on both teams on Kickoff returns.
On the offsides, if the OL would have jumped or ball snapped, the calls would have been made. The OL of A & M kept still and LSU got back both times. Watch it again. In the SEC, most OLines jump or snap when that occurs.
It was a good game and really not over till the fourth quarter. A & M will hopefully start beating Okla and Texas regularly.

The halfback TD was was a beaut. Right out of Les Miles' playbook. I wasn't just embarrassed that we didn't run it instead.
The Aggies looked pretty good. I don't know if something just clicked with our offense or the Aggie defense just went flat, but it was one of the few truly enjoyable LSU games to watch this year.
We would welcome you Aggies to come on over to the SEC. There will likely be an open spot in the SECWest roster by next summer that you can have.

I was referring to the fact that we brought it back to an 11 point game with < 10 minutes left, hence me writing "kept things competitive into the 4th quarter"
You guys put it on ice after that because you were the better team, but it was a game before that.

Yea, he was a pretty good qb in HS and he looked great when he made that pass. Good spiral, velocity, accuracy, etc.
I'm not sure why we haven't used that ability more (I'm pretty sure that's the first pass he's attempted in 3 years).

I assure you that this was an aberration.
