He's as dirty as they come, no way I could be a fan with him as coach.

The verdict is still out on this guy. So far he has put together a good recruiting class, but I say no for LSU.

Totally disagree. Him distancing Dye and others from the Auburn program was one reason that Lowder and him never got along. I think he runs a pretty clean program.

As for him being the next LSU head coach, not an exciting hire imo. I just don't see him being able to compete against Saban, Petrino, Mullin, ect every year and win.

Tubbs is a good coach that knows the SEC. I wouldnt mind it considering we are this close to the bowl game.

Heres the thing LSU needs a proven coach that knows the SEC and Tubbs is that guy. LSU is a top school and doesnt need to be picking OC or DC for a coach. On top of that the hottest names dont always work out look at RR and Weiss. Both were hot names and both tanked. LSU makes up alot of flaws being the only school in the state and one of the top programs in the SEC. Tubbs would do well here and is proven.

LSU continues to win despite clock management problems at the end of the game atleast once a season. If we can win with Miles we can win with Tubbs.

I would take him in a second. He's arrogant, clean, tough, smart and his teams were always well prepared.

If our coach smoked a cigar after a big win, we all would have praised it. Well, I would have.

Why is that such a bad option at this stage in the season? Most of the other coaches have found jobs and Patterson prob wont come here and hasnt won in the SEC before. RR was a hot name and he tanked so was Weiss. At this stage in the game we wouldnt have alot of choices.

And what makes you think this? Do you think he didn't run a clean program at Ole Miss or Auburn?

Tubbs is past his prime. Shady. Questionable at recruiting. Moreover, he was not good enough for Auburn, why would he be good enough for LSU? Hell Chizik has proven to be a better coach than Tubbs. If he is hired, I will be very, very disappointed.
